Pittsford Carriage Association
The Pittsford Carriage Association (PCA) was formed in 1972 to oversee the Walnut Hill Farm Driving Competition. Its major objective was, and still is, the use of carriages and other animal-drawn vehicles for the promotion of public interest in their contributions to our country’s cultural, social, and economic history. It was also its intention “to establish an annual gathering of coaches and coachmen that would provide an opportunity to advance the art of driving and its sporting flavor.”
The PCA received its 501(c)3 non-profit, educational status in 1975.
